19-Year-Old Pedestrian Sustains Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Main Gate Road in Novato

 
NOVATO, CA (December 15, 2022) – A 19-year-old woman was injured in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Main Gate Road in Novato Sunday afternoon on December 11.
 
Around 3:03 p.m., the Novato Police Department officers responded to call of an injured pedestrian lying on the sidewalk. When they arrived, they found the woman east of the parking lot entrance to the Hamilton Smart Train Station.
 
Preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling west on Main Gate Road towards Nave Drive when it struck the woman was walking in the area. The driver fled the scene after striking the victim.

Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Surveillance footage shows the vehicle was a silver four door sedan with damage to the passenger side mirror.
