SANTA ROSA, CA (April 30, 2024) — A tree trimmer was injured on-site near Hood Mountain in Santa Rosa on Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened sometime Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a tree trimmer sustained serious injuries while performing a tree trim in Hood Mountain. Subsequently, the Golden Gate Division Air Operations deployed its H-30 helicopter to assist the Santa Rosa Fire Department. Minutes later, paramedics took the injured worker to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital after rendering aid on-site.
 
Police did not say what led to the incident. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
