Pedestrian Suffers Several Fractures after Hit by Car on Paradise Valley Road

 
PARADISE HILLS, CA (February 5, 2024) – A woman was severely injured in a pedestrian accident on Paradise Valley Road in the Paradise Hills area of San Diego Saturday night on February 3.
 
The accident happened just after 6:10 p.m. at Jester Street. According to the San Diego Police Department, the female pedestrian was crossing Paradise Valley Road when a 55-year-old driver of a Hyundai Azera struck her.
 
Paramedics arrived and rushed the woman to a hospital with several broken bones, including fractures to her right arm, right leg and pelvis. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
 
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation. They asked anyone with further information to call them or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
