MISSION VALLEY, CA (November 1, 2022) – A 37-year-old woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Highway 163 in Mission Valley on Sunday.
 
The accident happened around 1:45 a.m. on October 30 just east of 8 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was walking in a freeway lane when a Kia sedan hit her.
 
The woman suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital, where she was in stable condition as of Monday.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Kia stopped after the crash. They were not suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
