DIAMOND BAR, CA (May 2, 2022) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar on Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened just after 6:00 a.m. on May 1 at the Grand Avenue off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig and a sedan and big rig collided on the eastbound freeway for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and pronounced a female occupant dead at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
Crews issued a SigAlert in the area, shutting down all eastbound lanes, except the carpool lane, for an unknown duration while they cleared the wreckage.
 
No other details available at this time. An investigation into this fatal crash is underway.
