Woman Dead in Adelanto Single-Car Accident on Highway 395

 
ADELANTO, CA (May 24, 2021) — A woman died in a single-car accident on Highway 395 near Colusa Road Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 10:17 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a silver four-door sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on the highway. Under unclear circumstances, the driver crashed the car, immediately drawing Good Samaritans to help.
 
Upon arriving, the San Bernardino County Fire Department airlifted the male driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. However, the female passenger died in the accident.
 
At this time, officers have not confirmed the factors that contributed to the crash. Although, anyone with information should contact the Victorville CHP station at 760-241-1186.
