Fiery Multi-Vehicle Accident on Corbin Avenue in Reseda Kills Kelley Spencer, Injures Two

 
RESEDA, CA (May 27, 2021) – A man died in a fiery multi-vehicle accident on Corbin Avenue and Saticoy Street in Reseda Sunday, May 23 around 8:05 p.m.
 
28-year-old Kelley Reid Spencer of Woodland Hills died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
 
According to the LAPD, Spencer — driving the black BMW M3 — traveled northbound on Corbin Avenue. At the same time, a black 2015 Mini Cooper convertible was being driven by a male juvenile.
 
Police believe Spencer’s BMW was involved in a multi-vehicle collision. However, an investigation is continuing to determine if he was racing with another motorist at the time of the crash.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado suffered major injuries. As a result, officials transported the driver to a hospital.
 
The Kia driver, the Kia passenger, the Mini Cooper driver, and the Volkswagen driver suffered minor injuries.
 
A witness told police that two racing vehicles had caused the wreckage. In addition, a community resident stated that street racing was a problem in the neighborhood.
