40-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Arrow Route in Upland

 
UPLAND, CA (March 21, 2022) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Arrow Route in Upland early Friday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:52 a.m. on March 18. According to the Upland Police Department, the female pedestrian was walking in the 1600 block of Arrow Route when a car struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was a 40-year-old Fontana resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
Authorities withheld her name pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash. Further investigation is underway.
