CALABASAS, CA (July 18, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on 101 Freeway in Calabasas on Friday evening, July 15.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:39 p.m. just north of Parkway Calabasas. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving her SUV when her car stalled on the northbound freeway for unknown reasons.
 
When the woman stepped out of her car, a bus struck her. She suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the exact cause of the crash and liability.
