Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Garden Highway

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 6, 2022) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Garden Highway near Truxel Road.
 
According to Sacramento Police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman and fled the scene, leaving her with major injuries.
 
Shortly after, authorities and paramedics responded and pronounced her dead.
