Pedestrian Suffers Injuries after Hit by Car on National Avenue in Logan Heights

 
LOGAN HEIGHTS, CA (October 27, 2021) – A woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on National Avenue in Logan Heights Tuesday morning.
 
The accident happened shortly before 10:15 a.m. on October 26 on National Avenue near 31st Street. According to the San Diego Police Department, the female pedestrian was walking in the area when a gray Toyota Camry struck her.
 
The driver stayed at the scene to talk to police after the collision.
 
The victim was conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived. They took the woman to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol was a factor. An investigation is underway.
