NAPA, CA (November 7, 2022) — A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on Foster Road near Hilton Avenue on Wednesday evening.
 
According to Napa Police, the pedestrian accident happened around 6:22 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a southbound 2001 Toyota 4Runner struck a pedestrian walking north of Foster Road.
 
The driver immediately contacted Napa Police, who responded with an American Medical Response team and found a seriously injured woman. Due to her major injuries, medics brought her to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for care.
 
Following the crash, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. At this point, officers do not believe alcohol played a factor.
