Rosario Requena, Gerardo Duran-Escatel, Two Officers Hurt in Modesto Car Crash

 
MODESTO, CA (November 7, 2022) — Rosario Guadalupe Velarde Requena and Gerardo Duran-Escatel were injured in a two-car accident on Yosemite Boulevard at Geer Road on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 2:45 a.m. As two California Highway Patrol officers responded to a traffic collision, their 2017 Dodge Charger struck another vehicle while on its way.
 
It appears the westbound Dodge Charger crossed the intersection at the same time a southbound 2014 Dodge SUV did. As a result, both vehicles collided.
 
The 29-year-old CHP officer and his 28-year-old passenger suffered lacerations and complaints of pain.
 
In addition, 50-year-old Requena and 51-year-old passenger Duran-Escatel — both occupants of the Dodge SUV — complained of pain, as well.
