Woman Hospitalized, Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 14, 2023) — A woman suffered moderate injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on El Cajon Boulevard near Utah Street.
 
According to San Diego police officers, the hit-and-run happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a woman attempting to cross the street was hit by a westbound vehicle. The driver, however, left the scene before authorities arrived.
 
Upon responding, officers found a woman with two fractured ribs and a cut to her head. Although her injuries were not considered life-threatening, she received the treatment she needed to heal.
