67-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Bisby Lake Avenue in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 14, 2023) — A 67-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash at Bisby Lake Avenue and Navajo Road.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 6:00 a.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a 51-year-old woman operating a 2020 Kia Soul ran a red traffic light. As a result, the Kia collided with a 1986 Yamaha SRX-6 motorcycle. The impact caused the 67-year-old motorcyclist to hit the ground.
Moments later, paramedics arrived and brought the victim to Sharp Memorial Hospital where he died despite having received life-saving treatments. The 51-year-old woman who stayed at the scene was taken into custody for unknown reasons.
