Woman Hospitalized, Driver Hits Her Motorcycle on Pershing Drive in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 23, 2022) — A woman was injured after a driver hit her motorcycle on Pershing Drive near Florida Drive.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the motorcycle accident happened around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a 75-year-old man in a 2015 GMC failed to see a 2020 Ducati motorcycle riding southbound.
 
As a result, the GMC sideswiped the motorcyclist, causing pelvic injuries to the female rider.
 
Shortly after, paramedics brought the female motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment.
 
The truck driver – who did not report any injuries – stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
