1 Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton

 
FULLERTON, CA (April 16, 2024) — A woman died in a multi-car accident on Orangethorpe Avenue at Harbor Boulevard.
 
According to Fullerton Police officers, the fatal multi-vehicle collision happened around 12:11 a.m. Monday. For possible speed- and DUI-related reasons, a driver of a southbound BMW 428i failed to yield to a vehicle. Subsequently, the BMW struck a Toyota RAV4 in the No. 1 lane that was stopped at the red traffic light. Upon impact, BMW struck a Chevrolet Silverado in the next lane over.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived to assess the victims. While they took the 22-year-old Toyota driver and two others from the other vehicles to a hospital, a 62-year-old woman from Anaheim died at the scene. Authorities did not release her name.
