RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (September 9, 2022) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Coloma Road and McGregor Drive on Thursday.
 
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal hit-and-run took place around 5:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, an unidentified driver in an unknown make and model struck the woman near the intersection.
 
Per investigators, the victim was crossing the street at the time of the accident.
 
Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and found the woman with fatal injuries.
