CALAVERAS COUNTY, CA (September 9, 2022) — A woman was hit and injured by a jet ski at Lake Camanche near Highway 12 on Sunday.
 
According to the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department, an adult woman in about 4 foot of water was run over by a jet ski traveling at a high rate of speed.
 
As a result of the incident, the unidentified woman sustained a head injury. Soon after, paramedics arrived at the scene and airlifted her to a trauma center in the Central Valley.
