BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 13, 2022) – Two people were severely injured after a rollover accident on Highway 99 in Bakersfield Friday evening on June 10.
 
The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. just south of California Avenue. According to California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling northbound when it lost control and overturned, ejecting two people.
 
Paramedics rushed the two patients to Kern Medical for treatment of severe injuries.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
