Two Killed in Head-On Accident on North Wheatland Avenue [Lake View Terrace, CA]

Head-On Accident on North Wheatland Avenue Kills 2, Critically Injures 3

 
LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA (March 12, 2021) – Two people died Wednesday morning after a head-on accident on North Wheatland Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened just before 12:30, March 10, near Foothill Boulevard.
 
Emergency personnel responded to find five patients with severe injuries. Life-saving measures were performed, but two of them died at the scene. Three others were taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
A preliminary investigation revealed one of the vehicles was traveling the wrong-way when it collided head-on with the other.
 
The identity of the deceased victims will be released once their family members are notified.
 
An investigation is still ongoing to determine the factors involved and liability.
