2 Boys Riding Bicycles Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries after Struck by Car on Saturn Boulevard in Nestor

 
NESTOR, CA (December 8, 2022) – Two boys were seriously injured in a bicycle accident on Saturn Boulevard in the San Diego’s Nestor area on Sunday night.
 
The accident happened just before 6:20 on December 4. According to the San Diego Police Department, the boys, aged 12 and 13, were riding their bicycles across 900 Saturn Boulevard from east to west.
 
A 37-year-old man was driving a Volkswagen Jetta southbound when he struck the boys in the southbound lane, causing both victims to lose consciousness.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the boys to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police. He is not suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
 
At this time, an investigation into this accident is ongoing.
