Tesla Cybertruck Crashes into Beverly Hills Hotel Sign on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills

 
BEVERLY HILLS, CA (March 5, 2024) – Three people were hurt in a high-speed accident at Sunset Boulevard and North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills on March 3.
 
According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, a Tesla Cybertruck was traveling at an unsafe speed when it crashed into the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel sign just before midnight.
 
The nearly 7,000-pound stainless steel vehicle hopped the curb and came to a stop with its two front wheels on top of a concrete landscaping wall. The truck sustained significant damage to its front left wheel, as well as damaging the poles that hold the sign.
 
Three passengers inside the Cybertruck were suffered unspecified injuries, though no one was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
 
Police said speed was a contributing factor of the crash, which is under investigation.
