CERES, CA (May 17, 2024) — One person was injured in a bicycle accident on Mitchell Road at Adrien Way.
 
According to the Ceres Police Department, the bicycle accident happened around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver heading northbound on Mitchell Road struck a 59-year-old man riding a bike across Mitchell Road. Subsequently, paramedics responded and took the seriously injured cyclist to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
