Multi-Vehicle Accident on West Stockton Street in Sonora Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
SONORA, CA (July 21, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized in a multi-vehicle accident on West Stockton Street in Sonora Wednesday morning on July 19.
 
The accident happened just after 11:00 a.m. at the intersection with Highway 49. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least three to four vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
First responders found three people suffering from unspecified injuries. They took the patients to Adventist Health Sonora for proper treatment.
 
The crash blocked the eastbound lanes of the West Stockton Street in both directions while crews worked on the scene.
 
The cause of the crash and whether drugs or alcohol was a factor remain under investigation.
