BOULEVARD, CA (March 2, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized in a head-on accident on Highway 94 in the Boulevard area on Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 2:45 p.m. on February 27 near Lillie Lane just east of Old Highway 80. According to the California Highway Patrol, two pickup trucks collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
First responders found a total of five people in the two vehicles. Paramedics transported three of them to a hospital, one with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, two dogs in the vehicles were unharmed.
 
Crews briefly blocked traffic in both directions on the roadway while they they cleared the wreckage.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
