CROMBERG, CA (August 23, 2022) — Thomas Calvery was injured after a car crashed into Golden RV Park on Highway 70.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened on Monday. For unknown reasons, 61-year-old Barry Waters lost control of his westbound Honda CRV on Highway 70.
 
Subsequently, the Honda traveled across both lanes of traffic onto the north shoulder where it continued out of control. It then careered into a dirt gravel shoulder down an embankment where the Honda crashed into a Jayco trailer.
 
The impact caused 38-year-old Calvery to be pushed into the refrigerator from his dinette and onto the ground. Soon after, emergency personnel arrived and treated the Vancouver, Wash., man at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted Waters, of Reno, to Renown Medical Center for treatment.
 
At this time, the primary cause of the accident needs more investigation. However, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
