Teen Dies in 2-Car Accident on Parthenia Street in Northridge

 
NORTHRIDGE, CA (July 7, 2022) — A teen died in a car accident on Parthenia Street near Winnetka Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed in the 20100 block of West Parthenia Street, leaving two individuals trapped in an overturned vehicle.
 
Of the two individuals trapped was a 17-year-old boy who suffered fatal injuries. Authorities have not identified him. The other person, described as a man in his 20s, suffered critical injuries and required hospital care.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old woman occupying the second car suffered merely minor wounds and declined ambulance transportation.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident; however, police plan to investigate the details before the crash. Therefore, if anyone has more information, please call the Los Angeles police.
