Golf Cart Driver Ted Hoots Hit, Killed by Car in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (April 15, 2021)Ted Hoots died in a golf cart accident on Phantom West at Innovation Drive last Sunday.
 
According to a GoFundMe page, Hoots was on his way home from the Apple Valley Kennel Club Dog Show at Schmidt Park. Around 9:26 p.m., a Honda sedan struck his southbound golf cart seconds before Hoot reached Innovation Drive.
 
Despite having received life-saving measures, the 67-year-old Adelanto man died at the scene. Meanwhile, the Honda driver stayed by and cooperated with police investigators.
 
At this time, authorities have not determined the liabilities and cause of the accident. However, any witnesses with information should contact the Victorville Sheriff’s Station at 760-241-2911.
