Suspect Dies in Police Chase Crash on Burbank Boulevard in Sherman Oaks
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (June 13, 2022) — A suspect died in a police chase accident on Burbank Boulevard at Mammoth Avenue on Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pursuit took place late Saturday when CHP officers found a 1998 Honda Accord speeding on the 210 Freeway. The driver, however, failed to stop and led authorities on a high-speed chase around 10:07 p.m.

Following the impact with the Subaru, the Honda slammed into a palm tree on the corner of Burbank Boulevard and Mammoth Avenue.
The suspect died at the scene.
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and treated the Subaru driver for minor injuries.
At this time, the victim’s name and why the suspect was speeding require further investigation. If anyone has more knowledge about this incident, please call the CHP.
