Student Hospitalized in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Adams Boulevard

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 27, 2022) — A student suffered broken bones in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Adams Boulevard at Portland Street on Sunday.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run happened around 7:30 a.m. in University Park. For unknown reasons, a driver in a blue Dodge Dakota pickup with outfitted metal racks struck the 23-year-old in a marked crosswalk.
 
Subsequently, the suspect fled the scene of the accident.
 
Soon after, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of multiple broken bones.
