State Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo Crashes Into Parked Cars on Monterey Road near Hardison Way
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 6, 2023) — State Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo plowed into several cars in a DUI crash on Monterey Road near Hardison Way Friday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the DUI crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday. In the 6200 block of Monterey Road, Carrillo crashed her vehicle into at least two parked cars.
Shortly after, police responded and booked Carrillo on suspicion of DUI. She was released around 1:00 p.m. that same day after being booked around 4:00 a.m.
Carrillo, who was elected to the assembly in 2017 in the 52nd District, is running for the Los Angeles City Council’s 14th District seat.
Fortunately, no one reported any injuries in the accident.
