Five Vehicles Involved in Accident on Bowman Road near Adams Road in Cottonwood
COTTONWOOD, CA (November 8, 2024) – Six people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Bowman Road, Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 6, at about 2:38 p.m. The driver of a Dodge Ram 3500 reportedly became distracted and crashed into a line of stopped vehicles near Adams Road.
The chain-reaction crash caused damage to a Ford Escape, Kia Soul, Lincoln MKZ, and Chevrolet Impala.
As per reports, six people sustained minor injuries. Two of the victims were later transported a local hospital for further treatment.
Responders temporarily closed Bowman Road to make way for clearing operations. Bowman Road was reopened to traffic at 3:42 p.m.
No arrests have been made.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
