Two Drivers Arrested after DUI Accident on Cedar Street [Fresno County, CA]

One Seriously Injured in DUI Accident on Cedar Street near Mount Whitney Avenue in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 8, 2024) – One person sustained injuries in a DUI accident on Cedar Street, Wednesday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 6. A vehicle reportedly ran a stop sign and collided with another car near Mounty Whitney Avenue.

One of the drivers sustained serious injuries and needed hospitalization.

Authorities later arrested both drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence at the time of the incident. Their identities were not released.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
