23-Year-Old Max Wolfe Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Highway 101 near Greenlaw Vista Point
HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA (November 8, 2024) – 23-year-old Max Allen Wolfe of Fortuna sustained serious injuries following a suspected hit-and-run on Highway 101, early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 6, at about 3:17 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit the victim in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 at the Greenlaw Vista Point.
Emergency crews rushed the victim to Providence St. Joseph Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle left the area and failed to render aid.
