One Injured in Crash on Amargosa Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 23, 2021) — A motorcyclist suffered injuries in a crash on Amargosa Road Tuesday before noon in Victorville.
 
According to the authorities, the incident took place near the entrance of a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. At about 11:56 a.m. on Tuesday, a 2012 Honda NC700x motorcycle and a silver 2015 Toyota Highlander collided in the area.
 
Victorville City firefighters were among the first to respond. They immediately requested a helicopter to transport the motorcyclist with major injuries to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
Additionally, officials had Amargosa Road closed in both directions as they investigated the crash. They also called in a tow truck to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway. The Victorville Police Department, meantime, is investigating the cause of the crash.
