TAFT, CA (January 10, 2022) — Two people suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on 6th Street on Thursday, January 6.
Reports said a car struck two pedestrians on 6th Street near Lucard Street at around 5:30 p.m.
The victims, a male and a female, sustained major injuries. Firefighters and paramedics treated them at the scene. Then a ground ambulance rushed them to a medical center.
A helicopter airlifted one of the injured victims to Bakersfield for treatment.
Taft Police handles the ongoing investigation of the incident.
