Rafael Barragan Jr. Dead, James Milliken Arrested in Pedestrian Accident on North Walnut Avenue

 
WALNUT, CA (December 5, 2022)Rafael Barragan Jr. died after an intentional pedestrian crash at around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 1.
 
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened in the 1100 block of North Grand Avenue at Mt. San Antonio College.
 
When deputies arrived, they discovered the pedestrian unconscious with critical injuries. He died at the scene. Officials identified him as Rafael “Ralph” Barragan Jr., a 63-year-old tram driver at Mt. San Antonio College.
 
Meanwhile, medics also transported the driver to the hospital for treatment. They identified him as James E. Milliken and described him as a former employee of the same college.
 
Officials then arrested Milliken on suspicion of murder after determining the incident as an intentional act.
 
At this time, there is officials have not released the details of the motive for the alleged killing.
