2 Hospitalized, 3-Vehicle Crash near Eureka Way in Shasta County

 
SHASTA COUNTY, CA (May 8, 2024) — Two people were injured in a 3-car accident near Eureka Way and Lower Springs Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car crash happened around 5:14 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, three vehicles collided on Eureka Way. Subsequently, CHP officers and paramedics responded and found two people inside a Toyota Tundra who suffered unknown injuries. Due to their conditions, paramedics transported the patients to a hospital for further treatment.
 
Following the incident, authorities investigated the scene to identify the cause, ruling out alcohol and drugs as suspected factors. However, the crash remains under investigation. If any witnesses could help traffic investigators, please call the CHP officers.
