Quindien Holmes, Myshawn Logan Among 3 Killed in High-Speed Accident on Florence Avenue [South Los Angeles, CA]

 

Quindien Holmes and Myshawn Logan Die in South Los Angeles High-Speed Crash

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (April 13, 2021) — Quindien Holmes and 14-year-old Myshawn Logan died in Sunday’s high-speed accident on Florence Avenue near Central Avenue.
 
According to the coroner’s office, officials have identified 23-year-old Holmes and Logan — both of Los Angeles — as two of the three fatal victims. Another man in his 20s, also a passenger, has not been identified.
 
Per the California Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old driver in a 2007 Toyota lost control at high speeds and collided with a Jeep around 11:00 p.m. Subsequently, the Jeep collided with another vehicle while the Toyota crashed into a building and a pole.
 
Due to the powerful force, one person was ejected from the Toyota and died shortly after. In addition, two passengers in the rear seat also died at the scene. Soon after, paramedics arrived and shuttled the 28-year-old driver of the Jeep to a hospital with minor injuries and the Toyota driver from Hawthorne to a hospital where he remains in ICU.
 
At this time, authorities believe speed played a factor in the accident. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the CHP.
