Person Dies in Los Angeles Multi-Car Accident on 110 Freeway

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 8, 2021) — One person was killed in a multi-car accident on the 110 Freeway near Stadium Way early Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 1:10 a.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a 2018 Honda Civic became disabled in the No. 3 lane. The occupants exited the vehicle soon after and purportedly stood outside the car.
 
However, circumstances escalated as a 2014 Ford Fiesta began approaching the Honda.
 
According to authorities, a 2017 Ford Mustang crashed into the Fiesta, pushing it into one of the pedestrians on the road. As a result, that person died at the scene. Reports have not clearly identified the fatal victim as a woman or a man, however.
 
Soon after, paramedics transported the 38-year-old female Ford driver to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
However, officers have not provided any information surrounding the female driver of the Mustang and occupants of the Honda Civic.
 
Since the details of this multi-car accident remain unclear, an investigation remains. However, those with information should contact the CHP at 213-744-2331.
