Man Killed in Los Angeles Multi-Car Accident at Central Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 8, 2021) — A man was killed in a multi-car accident at Central Avenue and 55th Street Thursday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly crash took place around 11:44 p.m.
 
At the scene, detectives determined that a driver tried towing another driver’s SUV with a rope. However, at some point during the tow, the rope ripped.
 
Both men purportedly exited their vehicles to see what had happened. However, as they stood outside, a third vehicle slammed into the rear of the SUV, pinning both men between their cars.
 
As a result of the crash, one man died, and paramedics transported the other victim to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Additionally, the driver in the third car sustained critical injuries.
 
At this time, authorities plan to investigate this multi-car accident at Central Avenue to determine the liabilities and precise circumstances. If anyone has more information, please contact detectives.
