Bicyclist Hit, Killed by Vehicles on 60 Freeway

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (May 6, 2021) — A bicyclist was hit and killed by several cars on the 60 Freeway near Peck Road Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. For unknown reasons, a man was riding his bicycle near the center divider of the 60 Freeway. At some point during his travel, a driver struck him before several more slammed into him.
 
Due to the nature of the accident, the man died at the scene. Following the crash, CHP officers responded and interviewed all involved drivers.
 
At this time, authorities have yet to confirm the ultimate cause of the crash, including why the bicyclist had been on the freeway, to begin with. Yet if anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
