SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 15, 2024) — A pedestrian in a wheelchair was hit and injured by a car near Leavenworth Street and Turk Street.
 
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman in a wheelchair in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco. Subsequently, paramedics responded and loaded the victim into an ambulance for hospital treatment.
 
At the time of the report, San Francisco Fire Department officials did not specify the woman’s condition neither did San Francisco police identify the cause. If anyone has information surrounding this pedestrian accident, please call San Francisco police.
