INDIO, CA (November 15, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a train accident at Indio Boulevard and Palm Street Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 12:06 p.m. on November 14. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the train struck the pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding fire crews found the pedestrian suffering from serious injuries. They transported the victim to a trauma center in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, an investigation into this accident is ongoing.
