One Killed after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway near Yale Avenue

 
IRVINE, CA (November 15, 2021) — One person died and three others suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened and occurred on the southbound 5 Freeway at Yale Avenue at around 2:12 a.m. on Sunday, November 14.
 
The incident involved a black sedan and several other vehicles.
 
The CHP said one died and medics rushed at least three people to three area hospitals.
 
A representative from the coroner’s office responded to the scene at 2:38 a.m. and crews cleared the roadway at 6:08 a.m.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
