Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Pedestrian Accident on East Chevy Chase Drive in Glendale

 
GLENDALE, CA (October 4, 2021) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run on East Chevy Chase Drive, early Friday morning.
 
According to the Glendale Police Department, the incident happened on October 1, shortly after midnight. The pedestrian reportedly attempted to cross the street at Glenmore Boulevard when a vehicle hit the victim.
 
Emergency crews then transported the pedestrian to a hospital. Authorities did not release the name and current condition of the victim.
 
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
 
Responding officers described the suspect vehicle as a silver or gray 2019 to 2020 Kia Forte. Investigators added that the vehicle should have severe damage to its front end.
