PASO ROBLES, CA (May 13, 2021) — A pedestrian was hit by a train on Riverside Avenue near 21st Street.
 
According to reports, the crash happened around 4:50 p.m. Following the accident, Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services responded to find the pedestrian with unknown injuries.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a southbound Amtrak train struck the victim, later drawing two fire engines and three officers to the scene.
