PLACER COUNTY, CA (May 13, 2021) — Three people sustained injuries in a shuttle bus accident on Penryn Road near the 80 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, an officer tried pulling a woman over near Galleria Boulevard. However, she sped off after she learned that the bus would be towed away.
 
Subsequently, a chase unfolded along the 80 East Freeway. At Penryn Road, the bus collided with a passenger vehicle, injuring the three people inside the car.
 
At this time, the details of the crash remain unclear. However, authorities learned that the bus belonged to the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center but was later purchased at an auction.
