ECHO PARK, CA (April 16, 2024) — A pedestrian hit by a car on Sunset Boulevard near Alvarado Street suffered significant injuries Saturday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver heading at an undetermined speed struck a pedestrian crossing Sunset Boulevard. Subsequently, the westbound driver pulled over and waited for authorities to respond.
 
Soon after, authorities and paramedics arrived, and the victim received emergency medical care for his or her serious injuries.
